Societal change with great impact in history was often born in a few pioneer's heads in a small living room or private kitchen. Sometimes in elegant salons accompanied by heavy clouds of cigar smoke, sometimes in the cluttered space of an artist's studio with a group of intellectuals gathered around a kitchen table spending the night in discussions, poetry recitation and spontaneous musical interludes. All kind of resistance movements happened in private homes.
It seems to us that especially for bold, courageous transformations, for disruptive societal innovation the intimacy of a private space is a most valuable ingredient.
We spent a day with pioneering heads and souls right in some of Berlin’s private living rooms. Three tracks of workshops, interactive talks, experimental sessions and artistic happenings gave us inspiration and hands on support for our creative challenges.
