Martin Häusler

born 1974 in Leverkusen.
He studied journalism and communication, geography and sociology.
His journalistic carrier started at the newspaper publisher Rheinische Post and he worked several years as a freelancer for the WDR broadcasting company in Cologne. Since 2000 he lives in Hamburg where he was employed at Gruner+Jahr for two years and at Axel Springer for seven years – in a final step he was manager of the department Aktuelles of the magazine Hörzu as well as editorial project manager and judge during the event Golden Kamera. After his journey through journalism in sports, boulevard and media he now he dedicates itself more and more in sectors of current social, ecological and economical mis-balances. Nowadays he works on a free-lancing basis as author and journalist in Hamburg.
2010 he published his book “Die Visionäre unserer Zeit” (The visionaries of our times), a portrait of revolutionary paths out of the global crisis.
